VRA FACES MAJOR LOSS
The Volta River Authority (VRA) says it will incur an estimated loss of over 120 billion cedis ($6.6 million) by the end of the year and that the shortfall will be carried over to next year if new electricity rates adopted in July -- and then suspended by the government -- are not put into effect quickly.
