Begun in 2009, the quest for a strategic partner for Societe Nouvelle des Phosphates du Togo (SNPT) is still marking time. Although the government has been engaged for long months in exclusive talks with the Australian firm Sultan Corp., the World Bank and International Monetary fund have managed to force it to issue a new invitation to tender for the sector.
