Following the decision taken last year by the Walloon Region of Belgium to withdraw the export licence attributed to the firm New Lachaussée (part of Groupe Forrest) for the export of a munitions plant to Tanzania, the government of Dar es-Salaam has demanded the refund of an advance payment of 5 million euros it had already given the Belgian company.
