FINANCIAL SCANDAL

The purchase by the Comoros Islands state of over 350 vehicles and machines (tractors, mini-buses, lifts and cement-mixers etc), from Italy a few months ago, has brought to light a hitherto discreet mechanism for political funding. The vehicles and machinery were addressed to the minister of finance, Said Abdallah M'Changama, on behalf of the State, by Italian company, Inter-Trade, part of the Lombardini group. (...)   [1121 words]   [€8]
