SULZER TURNS TO EIB
New Sulzer Diesel France (NSDF), which lost out (to a Scandinavian-Japanese consortium, Denmark's Burmeister & Wein Scandinavian Contractors and Japan's Mitsui) in the Mauritian Central Electricity Board's Call for bids to supply the third diesel generator unit for the Fort George electricity power station (ION N° 647), has brought to the notice of the European Investment Bank (EIB) alleged irregularities in awarding the contract.
