The risk of bogging down already looming
The Kenyan military incursion into Somalia launched on 16 October against the Al-Shabaab Islamists has not to date resulted in any veritable terrestrial fighting. And yet it is already beginning to show signs of getting bogged down. Literally - because of the rain in the Juba valley - and metaphorically - because of the reluctance expressed by certain leaders of the Transitional Federal Government (TFG) in Mogadishu. (...)
