Following the Ethiopian Airlines catastrophe, when its Boeing 767 on the Addis Ababa to Abidjan flight crashed into the sea off the Comoros islands on November 23, killing 125 aboard, after being hijacked, five survivors and the families of ten other passengers who disappeared have handed the defence of their interests to Jean Martin Mbemba, a lawyer who is a former justice minister of the Congo Republic.
