A CHURCH WORRIED OVER ELECTIONS
Fearing a fresh postponement of the local elections scheduled for May 1998 after having been initially fixed in December 1997, Mozambique's Roman Catholic church hierarchy has issued an appeal to Roman Catholics for them to "exercise their sacred duty" as electors during these elections where they must be "present and active".
