MANGISHI ZITHA
The former chief minister of KwaNgwane Bantustan, Mangishi Zitha, has been named South African ambassador to Mozambique. An official in the bantustan's former party Inyandza National Movement which approached the African National Congress after flirting for a time with the Inkhata Freedom Party headed by Zulu chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi, Mangishi Zitha and his community in Eastern Transvaal have very active trade relations with the southern region of Mozambique.
