France to transfer military surpluses to Gulf of Guinea as some Sahel states urge higher-level cooperation

Between now and 2025, the surplus stock of the French army will increasingly be channelled towards the coastal states in the Gulf of Guinea, which are contending with the spread of armed groups from the Sahel.
