The business dealings of Frelimo bosses

With the collapse of the Soviet empire and the end of Mozambique's civil war, most of the Marxist leaders of Frelimo became fledgling capitalists. Two decades later, they have emerged as major figures in the business world, using their political clout as a springboard to financial success - and membership in Mozambique's upper class. And it's now the children of the Guebuza, Chissano and Machel families who are doing business in their turn, with the same trump card used by their parents: excellent political connections.
