3T leader AfriMet plans to break into battery metals

AfriMet, which has pumped half a million dollars into lithium developer Tantalex Resources in the DRC, is keen to get involved in other countries rich in the metal, with Zimbabwe top of the list. Repelled by DRC mines' bad reputation, BMW has turned to Morocco and Australia for its cobalt supplies, while Volkswagen prefers to deal with Chinese battery manufacturers.
