Summit Overview
The ANNUAL AFRICA ESG / IMPACT INVESTING & SUSTAINABLE FINANCE SUMMIT-EAST AFRICA FORUMS were launched in South Africa in 2015 and hosted under different banners in several South African and African cities annually and bringing together continental and global thought leaders, experts, policy makers, institutional investors, researchers, impact investors, financial institutions, philanthropists, DFI’s, governments and the private sector to address issues related to ESG, Impact Investing, sustainable finance, and climate change.
The continental summit with regional forums under the new banner is in its 4th year and in 2022; we successfully hosted the 3rd Southern Africa edition in May at the Mdluli Safari lodge, Kruger National Park, South Africa. The summit which is part of our Africa series brings together key stakeholders in the ESG / Impact investing & Sustainable Finance space with a key focus on Impact Investing, Sustainability, Green Finance and Climate change. The 2023 forums, coming in the backdrop of COP27, will address critical and necessary interventions that investors, asset owners and managers, regulators and policy makers will need to deploy towards
