Secret talks between Dakar and Paris spy chiefs after military exit

France's DGSE foreign intelligence service chief Nicolas Lerner met with Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye in Paris last month after making a secret visit to Dakar to meet his counterpart there. Lerner is particularly worried about the Sahel jihadist threat spreading to coastal countries in West Africa.
