Ex-PM Ouane free to travel abroad again
Mali's former prime minister Moctar Ouane has regained some freedom after being placed under surveillance by the junta led by Colonel Assimi Goïta. He still refrains from commenting on Malian politics.
The UN mission's human rights team will soon be publishing its findings regarding events in the Malian village of Moura last March, when between 200 and 600 civilians are thought to have been killed. The report points the finger directly at the Malian army and its Wagner allies.
