Egypt's head of state, Abdelfattah al-Sisi, has entrusted his major museum projects to a handful of army and intelligence generals. Among those projects is the world's largest museum dedicated to Ancient Egypt, the Grand Egyptian Museum, where the Mukhabarat lays out its own financial conditions for foreign contractors.
