    Having pledged to no longer employ fighters from around 40 countries, Russia has diversified its recruitment across the continent. New African countries are emerging as sources of soldiers, and Moscow is now relying on thousands of African workers for a variety of industries, including the military.

    Kinshasa chooses intriguing Swiss partner Adex Platform to boost its diamond sector

    The firm was selected to help revive diamond cutting and trading in Greater Kasai, but the decision is being questioned, especially in Antwerp, where industry players are pursuing a different strategy with the DRC.
