New UN election roadmap makes space for Dabaiba and Haftar but not Saif al-Islam Gaddafi

To avoid the return of a parallel government in eastern Libya and ending up back at square one, the UN diplomat Stephanie Williams is on a final round of mediation efforts to save "her" peace process.

Kamel, Egypt's intelligence chief and adviser to President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, has in the past two months presided over the Arab Intelligence Forum and the Committee on Intelligence and Security Services in Africa (CISSA). He wants to transform them into diplomatic instruments at the service of Egypt.
