Businessman Moise Katumbi, who is working flat out on his presidential election bid, has put the management of his business interests in the hands of financial advisers who are running his affairs out of Geneva.

In March, at the head of his new party, Ensemble pour le Changement, mining entrepreneur Moïse Katumbi Chapwe officially became a candidate in the Congo-K's presidential elections due to take place next December 23. Katumbi, a former governor of the province of Katanga, has been driven into exile by the regime but has still managed to stage several demonstrations of force in the Congolese capital. He has addressed his supporters by satellite link and delivered speeches from Brussels and Johannesburg.
