The British firm's departure from two energy plants generating a fifth of Cameroon's electricity has triggered a standoff between Finance Minister Louis-Paul Motaze and Secretary-General of the Presidency Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh. President Biya must now choose between rival plans to buy out Globeleq's stake.
