Razel in legal battle with Magil over €26m 'unpaid' debt
Razel, the Cameroonian subsidiary of the French group Fayat, is accusing the Canadian firm Magil, which was in charge of construction for the African Cup of Nations (CAN), of not honouring a debt of more than €26m. A sum that Magil is strongly contesting. The French group, which has taken the case to court, has also lost the contract for the construction of the Douala urban motorway.
