Chad interim rulers mull strategies for staying in power post-transition
The Chadian presidential election is theoretically due to be held in a year's time. With this in mind, various scenarios are being studied by Mahamat Deby's entourage to ensure that the country's interim leader remains in power. They all include the need to keep Moussa Faki, a Chadian national and chairman of the African Union Commission, out of the game.
