With just a few weeks to go until the presidential election, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is in disgrace with Abu Dhabi. Recently, the United Arab Emirates ambassador to Somalia, Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, told some members of the Mogadishu parliament that he thought the next head of state should be a Darood, preferably the current Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke.
