Alibaba: the ringmaster of African finance

Applications for the Chinese behemoth's training programme for African entrepreneurs have just closed. For those selected to take part, it's a chance to obtain funding from programme partners 4DX Ventures and AfricInvest, and even to compete for the Africa Netpreneur Prize, set up by Alibaba founder and former CEO Jack Ma.
