Ahead of the African Union summit to be held in Addis Ababa on 5-6 February, the UAE's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan has been busy trying to shape a role for the UAE as a mediator in the region. To this end he held meetings, separately but only three days apart, with Egypt and Ethiopia's leaders. [...]
