Kalonzo Musyoka, leader of the Wiper party, has been drawn into efforts by the president's allies to break a stalemate over Sudan's embargo on Kenyan tea exports. This was imposed following the reception of the Sudanese paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in Nairobi in 2025.
