Libya's medical debts overshadow oil talks
During a visit to Tunis, Libya's prime minister offered to pay off in instalments debts totalling some €250m. But no major oil or finance deals were clinched.
The Libyan government is seeking to clarify the circumstances surrounding a document bearing the letterhead of the Libyan government which was sent to Khalifa Haftar's lawyers and which several Tripoli officials claim is fake.
Libya's representatives at the 76th General Assembly of the United Nations have been instructed to refrain from any mention of elections on 24 December. Najla al-Mangoush and Mohamed el-Menfi, both of whom until now had been favourable to the holding of these elections, have fallen into line behind PM Abdelhamid Dabaiba.
