Sonatrach loses two years and $20m on new gas project
State-owned Sonatrach signed a contract for the construction of a liquefied petroleum gas train in Rhourde El Baguel at the end of October with Italian group Maire Tecnimont. The contract, which has been much wrangled over, could have been signed two years earlier, however, for a much lower price.
