Cevital will not launch crushing plant before end of 2023
During his inspection of Cevital's new oilseed crushing plant in Bejaia on 16 March, the now former Minister of Industry Ahmed Zeghdar announced that production would begin in late April.
The Algerian authorities on 15 August sealed shut the oilseed crushing plant built by the Cevital group in Béjaïa, and whose launch was initially planned for the end of 2022. They did so on the grounds that the project had not received all the required authorisations.
