Russian General Sergei Surovikin fills absent ambassador's shoes

After a first trip to Oran in September 2023, the former commander-in-chief of Russia's aerospace forces has now settled in Algiers, where he is acting as an informal ambassador pending the appointment of an official diplomat by Moscow.
