Cash-strapped air force opts for second-hand Kuwaiti F-18 Hornets

The Tunisian Air Force urgently needs new fighter jets and is in talks to purchase several F-18 Hornets that Kuwait will withdraw from service. The US is keen to back the deal as it would prevent it from having to further extend its military aid to Tunisia.
