From Bamako to Bangui, Walid Arem takes over Libya's problem hotels
Walid Arem has taken over the famed Ledger Plaza hotel in Bangui, which is owned by the Libyan state through its Laico fund and is at the centre of a bitter power struggle. Arem was already running two other Laico hotels in Bamako, as well as a seaside resort in Tunisia.
