Assimi Goita's risky plan for post-MINUSMA era
With the end of UN mission's mandate approaching, and with it the viability of Mali's 2015 peace accord, Bamako is trying to build new alliances on the international stage. The blue helmets' departure is partly the result of divisions between the country's ruling colonels.
