Goma volcano observatory corruption probe may resume after deadly eruption

An investigation was launched last year into allegations of corruption at the observatory, which has admitted it failed to monitor the Nyiragongo volcano since last October, but was dropped at the request of the observatory itself. After the 22 May eruption, it may resume.
