Newly elected in Nampula, Mahomed Satar expands family mining empire
Having just won a seat in the Nampula regional assembly, Mahomed Asaraf Satar is working with his family to speed up the expansion of their mining interests in Mozambique. After years in real estate, tobacco, quarries and tantalite, the clan is now moving into gold, copper, iron and gemstones.
