Botswana Oil seeks US investors for coal liquefaction project
Botswana Oil has hired law firm DLA Piper to help it raise funds in the US to build a $2.5bn coal liquefaction plant.

The early stages of production at the Masama mine operated by South Africa's Minergy Coal are being followed closely by the government, which has given strong financial support to the new company, the first private sector operator in the Botswanese coal industry.
