Rivals manoeuvre to succeed Biya as RDPC leader
Several allies of the Cameroonian president are vying for the leadership of the ruling party and trying to steal a march on their rivals. But they are wary of being too open about their intentions, as the president has been quick in the past to sideline RDPC colleagues who were seen as too ambitious.
