Government draws on industry stocks to supply petrol stations amid fuel shortage
The war in Ukraine is causing disruptions to oil distribution and prices in Cameroon, a country heavily dependent on fuel imports. Worried this could spark a transporters' revolt, the Yaoundé government has tapped into sugar refinery Sosucam's reserves to help ease the situation in the north of the country.
