CAF general secretary appointment descends into confusion

The Confederation of African Football is appointing a new general secretary. While the role has been held on an interim basis by Samson Adamu since March, the recruitment process, launched under unusual circumstances and closing on 10 July, has raised eyebrows at the organisation's Cairo headquarters.
