Kaboré overhauls mining portfolio in politically calculated move
After supporting for months his controversial mining minister Oumarou Idani, the Burkinabe president Roch Marc Christian Kaboré has decided in his second term to appoint to the post one of his more high-profile party figures together with a technical expert from the sector to advise him.
