The true story of UNESCO's bogus cultural adviser

Art dealer and ex-jockey Thierry Schneider falsely claimed to the press that he was a cultural adviser to UNESCO. The affair has provoked a real imbroglio within the Paris-based institution, and within UNESCO's Liberian delegation, which for years provided Schneider with diplomatic cover.
