Tehran flutters its eyelashes at Conakry as it looks for bauxite to reduce its aluminium costs

Iran, which needs aluminium to boost its industrial activity despite its serious financial difficulties, is trying to relaunch its Dabola-Tougué bauxite project in Guinea. This would enable it to import bauxite and process it in its own plants, which would be cheaper than buying aluminium directly abroad.
