More than a year after Rwanda and southern African countries begin their armed interventions in the province of Cabo Delgado, Rwanda and South Africa remain suspicious of each other. Recent closer relations between South Africa and Mozambique could, however, change the balance of power in the region.

Emmanuel Macron to visit Rabat in January to reset bilateral relations

After having very discreetly renewed contact with Mohammed VI, the French head of state is set to make an official visit to Morocco in January. Before that, French foreign minister Catherine Colonna will travel to the Moroccan capital in December.
