Former Chelsea footballer Didier Drogba caught up by old mining debts

Former Chelsea player Didier Drogba and Hamed Bakayoko's ex-right-hand man, Idriss Diallo, are both competing to be the head of the Ivorian Football Federation, yet they were once business partners. They bought shares in Ity gold mine in 2013, and then sold their shares in 2019 to Endeavour without ever fully paying their first owner, the Ivorian parastatal group Sodemi, which is now asking for its dues.
