Former legionnaire Horatiu Potra, who oversees Romanian military instructors deployed in the east of the DRC, has joined forces with a company that runs a popular lottery in North Kivu province.

The Rwandan-backed M23 rebels are taking seriously the threat posed by CH-4 combat drones acquired by the Congolese army. The drones were recently deployed to a base near the areas the insurgents control in North Kivu.
