The new merchant marine and ports authority (OMMP) boss, appointed by President Kaïs Saïed, has a lot on his plate. He is expected to relieve congestion in Radès, Tunisia's main port, unblock aid from the US agency MCC, and combat the presumed influence of the Islamist party Ennahda on the OMMP.
