Sisi obtains EU pledge to discuss his agenda at COP 27

The Egyptian head of state has long been urging developed nations to cough up the annual $100bn promised to the global South under the Paris Accord. Now Brussels has formally undertaken to discuss the matter at the next Conference of Parties on the Red Sea.
