Tullow Oil abandons pending arbitration before pulling out of Uganda

On 21 October, Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni's government officially authorised British Tullow Oil to sell its 33% share in Albert Lake to Total. Tullow Oil immediately put an end to its pending arbitration procedure against the state, thus cutting its last ties to Kampala. [...] (193 words)
