How Addax-Oryx and Nouakchott buried the hatchet
The sharp rise in oil prices, combined with the authorities cancelling two tenders in early 2022, has cost Mauritania a pretty penny. The state has been on bad terms with its traditional fuel supplier, Oryx Energies, but recently made peace with it and signed a contract to cover the rest of the year.
