P&ID says Nigeria can't have it both ways in US courts

At the same time as invoking sovereign immunity from prosecution in the United States, Nigeria is taking legal action there in the P&ID affair. The gas company reckons this double game undermines Abuja's standing.

Attorney General Abubakar Malami, who enjoys particularly close relations with President Buhari, has in less than 10 years become Nigeria's self-proclaimed champion in the battle against the misappropriation of public funds.
